The Dawgs will remain at home for the third straight week when Mississippi State opens Southeastern Conference play against LSU on Sept. 16 at Davis Wade Stadium.

However the Southeastern Conference officially announced on Friday that MSU will host Auburn in Starkville on December 12, followed by a December 19 home game against Missouri. The Bulldogs were previously slated to play Auburn on November 14, but that game was postponed due to COVID-19 issues. The Action Network's Brett McMurphy has been all over how Notre Dame caused some commotion in the bowl selection process today. Mississippi State will host in-state rival Ole Miss in Starkville on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23).

On Nov. 18, Mississippi State will welcome in-state foe Southern Miss to Starkville for the 31st meeting all-time between the two programs. Out of the break, MSU will have a crucial stretch with trips to Arkansas and Auburn, a home game against Kentucky and then heading to Texas A&M.
